12/03/2011: From Sherry Frederick, Spinner's owner:
Friends of Spinner: For the first time in my life, I am at a loss for words. It is with a heavy heart that I inform you that Spinner's body was found this morning. He was just off the edge of the hayfield in which he was last seen grazing. A spot that I personally walked through several times. Others did as well. His front foreleg broken clean through above the knee. It's not clear how long he had been there. I know this will not answer everyone's questions, but I really don't have anything more to say right now.
